Vintage Bison Belts

Vintage Bison Belts

Vintage Bison Belts Company story starts in 1968 when a family set out to start a belt factory on the simple American principles of using only the highest quality materials backed up by exceptional craftsmanship.

Vintage Bison Belts Company belt-smiths are dedicated masters of their craft and most have been with us for over 20 years. Take Jerry Powell, one of our master belt-smiths - he just celebrated his 45th year with us, and his wife Leticia, also a belt-smith, has been with us for over 30 years. We use traditional techniques and time-tested know-how to make what are quite simply the world's best handcrafted bison belts.

Bison Leather is one of the strongest and most durable leathers in the world. Each hide carries a unique pattern as individual to the animal as a fingerprint.

Vintage Bison belts are made with traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation at our family-owned factory in Corona, California. Each Vintage Bison USA belt is handcrafted in over 50 precise steps. These time-tested methods ensure the highest standards of quality and durability. Vintage Bison Belts are Built to Last a Lifetime

American Heritage

Unique to North America, bison serve as an enduring symbol of the United States and its frontier roots. The bison can be found on the U.S. Department of the Interior seal, the National Park Service Arrowhead logo, and at one time, on the back of the nickel. In 2016, the bison officially became the national mammal of the United States in recognition of the historical, cultural, and economic significance of the bison to American heritage
